Anywhere But Here was started in late November, 2003, by a then-15-year-old who was very bored.
The 15-year-old is now 19, and still very bored, though she is studying Photography. ABH was originally dedicated to three
Star Trek: Enterprise characters (Trip, Reed, and Phlox), and a Stargate movie character (Ra).
Obviously, things have changed. Namely, I no longer watch Enterprise, and I'm using Photoshop now to create everything
from scratch.
What is up with the version number (4.1.3.1.5), you ask? Well...4 is the number of times that I have completely overhauled
this site. 1 is the number of times that I have attempted said overhaul in Dreamweaver. 3 is the number of times on the first
day I tried this in Dreaweaver that I messed around before settling on a layout. I threw that next 1 in there just for the
heck of it, and 5 has a meaning that I don't remember offhand. It may have something to do with the character shrines.
^_^ And why the Cherry Blossom design?...no I don't know what got into me. I think I was subconsciously inspired by a
theme that I acquired for my Mac called Black Cherry. I originally intended for the background of this site to be the same
color as Androgyny, but I decided that I wanted to do something different. So here we are.
This site was mainly inspired by my beloved cousin and muse, Tortise (yes I know that's spelled wrong), and her site Send
Me An Angel (now Pyro Bishies at http://devoted.to/escapefromreality).
I do not own any of the characters mentioned on this site; I simply have taken it upon myself to promote them. I make
no money from this (but put a great deal into it) so please don't sue me.
